Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA)

Accurate and Professional Assistance for ETA Applications

Who Needs an eTA?

You need an eTA if you are:

  • From a visa-exempt country
  • Flying to or transiting through Canada
  • Traveling for a short stay

Special passport holders also eligible:

  • British citizens and qualifying British nationals
  • Hong Kong SAR passport holders
  • Taiwan ordinary passport holders (with personal ID number)

Required Documents

  • Applicant Current Passport ( Scanned Color Copies)
  • Applicant E-mail Address
  • Applicant Residential Address
  • Applicant Copy of Previous Canadian Visa (If Available)

Travelers Who Do NOT Need an eTA

You don’t need an eTA if you are:

  • A US citizen or permanent resident
  • Re-entering Canada with valid status after visiting the US or Saint Pierre and Miquelon
  • A French citizen flying directly from Saint Pierre and Miquelon
  • A transit passenger under special programs
  • Accredited diplomats or military personnel on official duty

Travelers with a criminal record or previous Canada immigration refusals may be required to apply for a Standard Visitor Visa instead of an ETA.

Processing Time

Most eTAs are approved within minutes, but some may take several days if additional review is required.

We recommend applying at least 72 hours before travel.
